You’ve probably noticed that some people seem to be blessed with good luck while others are plagued with misfortune. Good luck can mean different things to different people. If you’re caught speeding and the police officer lets you off with a warning, you might consider yourself lucky. If you receive a clean bill of health from your doctor, you might thank your lucky stars. And if you have a happy and satisfying relationship with your partner while other couples are bickering or breaking up, you might knock wood and hope your bliss continues. So, while the definition of good luck is subjective, the desire to have more of it is something we can all agree upon.
